Poco Phantom Oak

Phantom joined our herd late in 2002. She is a bay Quarter Horse mare with small star and branded on her flank with the Clark Farms brand. Her first foal is a nice filly named Tulip. Tulip has had foals of her own so our Phantom is a granddam. Phantom was broke to ride in between having foals but primarily she is our dependable broodmare.

As with her dam, Phantom has a sweet reliable disposition. She was shown in 4H by the young girl who owned her and was very easy to work around. We've been told that she was even led all around the place behind a 4-wheeler with no problems. She had been an extremely dependable easy-keeper for us. Phantom's pedigree speaks for itself, with the classic cross of Poco Bueno and Doc Bar lines.

Phantom delivered her 2nd foal to Son of Hickory of Clark Farms on April 15, 2004. A beautiful bay filly Hickorys Mossy Oak. She was bred next to Docs Peppy Lon. She delivered his foal to term but it never got out of its sac so sadly we lost him, a chestnut colt. The next year she had a gorgeous black filly out of Maysdorf Muddy Water. And she had another beautiful black filly to him the following year, then a bay filly. Phantom is currently expecting a foal out of Docs Peppy Lon for 2010.
